Hoa Phat builds the third steel plant with capacity of 500,000 tons/year

In the framework of Phase 2 of Hoa Phat Steel Integrated Complex in Hai Duong, the third steel plant with capacity of 500,000 tons per year will be the most modern factory in Vietnam today. 
 
With the new line 100% of Italy, the factory uses the most advanced steel producing technology in the world. Specially, plant uses heating furnace to utilize carbon gas from the steel furnace for baking billet, therefore, energy cost is very low, only about 25% in compared to diesel fuel. Plant product includes wire rod and deformed bar (steel bar).

After the third mill completed, Hoa Phat Group’s steel capacity total will reach 1.2 million tons per year.
