Hoa Phat attended the Seminar on tax reform

On the two days of October 27th and 28th, 2008, the representatives Hoa Phat Group’s Supervisory Board, Financial Department and chief accountants of subsidiaries took part in the Seminar on Vietnamese tax reform held by Deloitte Vietnam Co., Ltd at InterContinental Westlake Hotel, 1A Nghi Tam, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

At the Seminar, the experienced directors and experts of Deloitte Vietnam Company are tax consultants, introduced the changes of 3 laws: value added tax, corporate income tax and personal income tax for Deloitte’s customers. Deloitte also shares what the Companies need to know to manage the tax matters under the new tax regime and it answers the questions and difficulties related to participants.

From January 1st, 2009, the tax legislations will have great changes which will impact on personal income tax and corporate income tax. Therefore, taking part in this seminar helps financial and accounting staffs get more knowledge about the new laws as well as give situation questions that may impact on the Company’s activities.

From now to the end of the year 2008, Hoa Phat Group will take part in other tax training courses, held by General Department of Taxation, Hanoi Department of Taxation, Hung Yen Department of Taxation to operate well when the new law is officially valid.
