Canteens of Hoa Phat Factories meet food hygiene and safety standard

Implementing the regulation on food hygiene and safety and according to Hung Yen Health Department, an investigation delegation of Van Lam District’s Health Office has just checked collective canteens of Hoa Phat Group. The result shows that, all the canteens meet food safety and hygiene standard.

On Sep 9th, 2008, via food test sample before and after processing, checking all the kitchen equipments of the canteen, checking food process of in In Wooden manufacturing Factory – Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company, the delegation concluded that the collective canteen of the Factory met food hygiene and safety standard. Ms. Pham Thi Kim Thuong, the chief  told that: “In the context of spreading epidemic disease like this, we pay attention on input food checking, we are determined not to receive food that does not have any information on origin. Besides, receiving management board’s attention, every year, 100% cooks are periodically checked their health. Our criteria are that we try our best to have quantity and quality food rations, especially meet food hygiene and safety standard for employees in the Factory”.

Mr Nguyen Quoc Toan, told that the delegation has already checked the canteens of Hoa Phat in Nhu Quynh Industrial Park, namely canteen of Steel rolling Factory, Steel pipe Factory, Furniture Factory. As the result, all the canteens of 3 Factories comply with the regulation on meet food hygiene and safety. On behalf of Van Lam District’s Health Office, he commended the canteens of Hoa Phat on well implementing the regulation on food hygiene and safety.

According to Mr. Do The Toan, Vice Manager of General Affairs Management Department of Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company, it is estimated that in the next beginning of October, all the service staffs in the canteens of Hoa Phat Group will attend a training course on food hygiene and safety.

Factories’ canteens of Hoa Phat comply well with requirement of food hygiene and safety, help food ration of each employee in the Factory to have safe, quality and ensure health.
