Ambassador of Myanmar visited Hoa Phat Industrial Park in Hung Yen

Recently, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Myanmar in Vietnam, Mr. Khin Soe Networking led the delegation visiting Pho Noi A Industrial Zone and some factories of Hoa Phat Group in Nhu Quynh industrial park - Hung Yen.

Together with her ambassador is Ms. Kyi Kyi San - Lady of the ambassador and Ms. Su Khaing Linn - 3rd Secretary of the Ambassador. Hoa Phat Group representative, Mr. Nguyen Duc - Director Hoa Phat and some members of Foreign Investment Committee guided to visit the factories: steel billets and steel rolling mills (Hoa Phat Group JSC) Refrigerator Factory (Hoa Phat Refrigerator Engineering Company), Cabinet and industrial wood factories (Hoa Phat Furniture company) Steel Pipe Mill (Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company); Pho Noi A Industrial Park.

Directly visited the factory and showroom, Ambassador and members of the Embassy highly appreciated the production capacity and potential development of Hoa Phat Group. Ambassador Khin Maung Soe said that, with modern production lines and strict production process, high quality products of Hoa Phat will certainly have more opportunities for export to Myanmar in next time.

In recent years, Myanmar has considered Vietnam as a reliable partner and has been expanding foreign investment promotion in accordance with the process of economy integration. In April, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will visit Myanmar to further strengthen relations between the two countries and formalize the promotion of cooperation and investment between two countries. Right in 3/2010, there will have direct flights from Hanoi to Yangon, 4 flights per week. In addition, putting activities of Viettel Telecom is the good condition for business investment in this country.

The visit aims to help Ambassador assess true production capacity, potential development of Hoa Phat. Thereby, Ambassador has enough bases to advise Myanmar Government to consider and license for Hoa Phat Group to invest in some fields, accessing the potential market as soon as possible.
