3/2012: Hoa Phat steel reached the highest sale volume ever

For the first time, Hoa Phat steel consumption reached a record of more than 72,000 tons in March 2012, increased by 40.3% over the same period last year and exceeded 23% of sales plan.

Accumulated for quarter 1/2012, Hoa Phat steel sales volume reached nearly 160,000 tons, continuing to keep its 2nd position in the marketshare. More importantly, although the construction market, real estate had no good signs, Hoa Phat steel marketshare has grown significantly, from 13.3% in 2011 to 13.9% in the first quarter 2012.

By self-contained furnace technology from iron ore to steel, Hoa Phat steel has high-grade, meeting all kinds of construction steel. With its strong brand and distribution network throughout the country, Hoa Phat steel has been in many state-funded projects to build infrastructure, national key projects. These were rapidly deployed in recent years, contributing to boosting sales volume of Hoa Phat steel.

According to Vietnam Steel Association, steel demand will increase slightly in the next time, because it’s time for the construction season, on the other hand, lowering the interest rate of the Government and credit easing policy for real estate may stimulate industrial production, construction.
