"Loving heartbeat" in the first 6 months: 18 children were supported by heart surgery by Hoa Phat

"Loving heartbeat" is a special meaningful humanitarian program that has been developed by Hoa Phat Group since the end of 2015, in order to raise the fund for heart surgery for disadvantaged patients. The program was cooperated with leading doctors in cardiology department of prestigious hospitals such as Hanoi Medical University Institute, National Hospital of Pediatrics, Institute E, Hanoi Heart Hospital ... screening and giving devise appropriate treatment regimens for each patient, thereby providing the best support for each specific case.

At the end of the first 6 months of 2019, "Loving Heartbeat" has successfully supported 18 patients with a total budget of nearly VND 900 million.

Mr. Vo Van Muc, the father of Vo Quang Vinh (Binh Duong) who was born with a congenital heart, sponsored by Hoa Phat, wrote a letter of thanks and shared: After receiving the 30 million VND grant from Hoa Phat Group, my son went cardiac surgery, good postoperative results, health is recovering fast. Thank you for the financial support and encouragement of Hoa Phat Group for my family.

For nearly 4 years of operation up to now, "Loving heartbeat" has become a prestigious address to be expected by patients as well as office workers from Social Work Department of big hospitals. The biggest difference of "Loving heartbeat" by Hoa Phat Group compared to current heart surgery programs and funds is that patients do not have to co-pay, patients are supported with surgery many times with high cost support level.

Nong Tran Tri Nghia (left) and Luc Bao An in Lang Son are cousins. Tri Nghia is the big brother, suffering from ventricular septal and atrial septal defect, had to undergo a total operation. Also Bao An ventricular septal, was designated patch hole. This is a picture of two brothers after the surgery, their health has stabilized and they are allowed to go to the boarding room. The two brothers were discharged from the hospital on May 29, 2019.

In cases of sharing information about the program, helping patients to apply for funding, please guide patients to prepare enough documents based on the form below:

• Application for sponsorship: presents family background and history from birth, disease, treatment history….
• Permanent residence (note: must include the entire family, not just the baby's name) (copy)
• Baby's birth certificate (copy)
• Health insurance card (copy)
• Echocardiography slips
• Bill of heart surgery cost(copy)
• Poor household certificate or application for confirmation of difficult family situation. (certified by local government)
• Two photos (10cmx15cm) 1 photo of the baby, and 1 photo of the baby taken with the family in front of the family home (the photo must show a view of the home where the baby is staying)
