Hoa Phat Group donated VND5 billion to Quang Ngai Province to overcome the storm Molave’s consequences

Hoa Phat Group donated VND5 billion to the central province of Quang Ngai to overcome the serious damages caused by the recent storm Molave. Of which, Binh Son District received VND2 billion while the remaining was supported for other districts in the province.

All the donation was transferred to the account of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai Province on October 29, 2020.

Hoa Phat Group’s employees help local people in Quang Ngai Province to move to the storm safe shelter at their domitories

Earlier, the company’s employees supported and moved about 5,000 people in dangerous areas in Binh Dong Commune, Binh Son District to the dormitory area of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel complex to avoid the storm No 9.

In addition to free accommodation, the company also provides free snacks, cakes, milk and noodles to the local people during the storm No 9.  With the careful preparation, all of local people at the shelter area were safe.

In addition to help the locality recover the storm’s consequences, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex is trying to mobilise resources to repair roof breakage, gradually stabilizing production from October 29^th 2020.
