Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee visited Hoa Phat Steel JSC

On February 8, 2022, Mr. Pham Xuan Thang - Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee led a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council of Hai Duong Province and Kinh Mon Town to visit on the occassion of Lunar New Year to employees of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company.

Reporting to the provincial leaders, Mr. Do Duc Don – the company’s Deputy Director said that in 2021, their finished steel output reached nearly 2 million tons, up 21 per cent over the previous year, including nearly 300,000 tons of finished construction steel for exports. Production activities have been maintained to help ensure jobs and stable incomes for 5,500 workers, mainly local people. 

Last year, the company contributed to the State budget a total of more than VND3 trillion. In which, the amount paid separately in Hai Duong is VND1.75 trillion, representing 53 per cent year-on-year increase. The contribution of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company accounted 13.3 per cent of the province’s total revenue and 44 per cent of the non-state enterprises, becoming the largest budget contributor to the province. In addition, the company actively supports the locality in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic, carrying out many other practical welfare activities. 

Mr. Pham Xuan Thang - Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee praised production and business results and recognized contributions to the State budget and social security activities of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company last year. At the same time, he highly appreciates the company which is always at the forefront of industrial production in the whole province, making great contributions to the State budget and social security activities in the area.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang also sent New Year wishes to the entire Board of Directors and employees of the company with good health, achieving better results in production and business, contributing more to the province’s socio-economic development in the near future.
