November: Hoa Phat sells 33.000 tons of steel

In November, Hoa Phat sold 33.000 tons steel, exceeding 96% in comparison with the targeted plan. This has been the highest consumption capacity in this year.

Within 3 months from August to October 2008, the reduction of construction steel price and the consumption capacity has affected much to the production and trading of the steel industry in general. Since November 2008, the world steel price has increased and domestic demand is starting to improve. The management board of company has direct the Sales Department enhance marketing to the projects. Therefore, the steel sales doubled than October.

The steel sales in November contributes significantly to the rapid reduction of inventories, making Steel Rolling Mill operate stably with full capacity. Steel production in November reached 20,000 tons, raising the total steel output in the first 11 months of the year reached 231,000 tons.

In the market situation with many difficulties, this figure is quite impressive, contributing to affirm Hoa Phat Steel brand on the market. In addition, distribution market demand also expanded more new area, encrease the covering level of the Hoa Phat Steel on the market nationwide. Hoa Phat Steel now is the prestigious brand name for construction projects in Viet Nam. In November Hoa Phat Steel has supplied thousands of tons of steel for large projects such as: headquarter of Industrial and Commercial Bank, Vinh Phuc Beer Factory, Ha Noi Museum, Ministry of Public Security’s Building, Xa la Urban Area, Thanh Liem Cement Plant ...

In the end of November, Hoa Phat Steel has reached 95% of the plan year (238,000 tons). The last month steel sales creates momentum for Hoa Phat to complete quickly planned sales in 2008 is 250,000 tons of steel. Hoa Phat Steel believes in reaching and exceeding the target plan.
