“Loving heartbeat” in the first half of the year: 18 children were supported by heart surgery by Hoa Phat

“Loving heartbeat” is a special meaningful humanitarian programme which has been implemented by Hoa Phat Group since the end of 2015, in order to fund the cost of heart surgery for disadvantaged patients. The programme was combined with Hoa Phat Group’s leading doctors in cardiology departments of prestigious hospitals such as Hanoi Medical University Institute, National Hospital of Pediatrics, Hospital E, Hanoi Heart Hospital … screening and giving devise appropriate treatment regimens for each patient, thereby providing the best support for each specific case.

In the first six months of the year, “Loving haertbeat” pogramme successfully supported surgery of 18 children with total funding of nearly VND900 million.

Mr Vo Van Muc, Vo Quang Vinh’s father (in Binh Duong Province) with a congenital heart sponsored by Hoa Phat wrote a letter of thanks and shared: After receiving VND30 million funded by Hoa Phat Group, my son went to have a heart surgery. After the surgery, his health is recovering fast. I would like to send our thank for the financial support and encouragement of Hoa Phat Group for my family.

For nearly 4 years of operation, “Loving heartbeat” has become a prestigious address to be expected by patients as well as officials of Social Affairs at large hospitals. The biggest difference of “Loving heartbeat” by Hoa Phat Group compared to current heart surgery programmes and funds is that patients do not have to co-pay are supported with surgery many times with high cost level.

Nong Tran Tri Nghia (left) and Luc Bao An in Lang Son are cousins. Tri Nghia means the big brother, suffering from ventricular septal and atrial septal defect. He had to undergo total surgery. Also Bao An ventricular septal, was appointed to patch the hole. This is a picture of two brothers after the surgery, their health are stable and they are allowed to go to the boarding room. The two brothers were discharged from the hospital on May 29, 2019.
