Thousands of tons of Hoa Phat prestressed cables have been widely using in highways, overpasses, and large-scale construction projects, replacing imported goods.

Hoa Phat's currently possesses a PC Strand production line fully imported from Italy, with an annual capacity exceeding 200,000 tons.
Prestressed steel strand (PC Strand) is a high-strength steel product commonly used in concrete components such as bridge girders, apartment floor slabs, and long-span structures. In Vietnam, Hoa Phat is currently the only enterprise capable of manufacturing this product line, contributing significantly to reducing reliance on imports.
Hoa Phat owns a prestressed steel strand production line with a capacity of more than 200,000 tonnes per year, fully imported from Italy. With the advantage of 100% self-sufficiency in raw materials from the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Integrated Steel Complex, the products ensure stable quality and competitive pricing.
Hoa Phat prestressed steel strands have been used in several sections of the first phase of the North–South Expressway, such as the Quoc Lo 45 – Nghi Son and Vung Ang – Bung routes. Currently, as numerous key transport infrastructure projects are being launched simultaneously, PC Strand products are increasingly favored by contractors for their consistent quality, competitive costs, and fast delivery capabilities.

The Dong Dang – Tra Linh Expressway and the Huu Nghi Border Gate – Chi Lang Expressway are two major projects in northern Vietnam. Other projects, including the Dong Dang – Tra Linh Expressway, the Huu Nghi – Chi Lang Expressway, the Ninh Binh – Hai Phong Expressway, and the Hoa Binh – Moc Chau route, are all using Hoa Phat products. In particular, for the two large-scale projects in Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces, Hoa Phat has supplied thousands of tonnes of prestressed steel strands for casting bridge girders across complex mountainous and rocky terrain.
In central Vietnam, Gianh Bridge and Quan Hau Bridge in Quang Binh Province have also selected Hoa Phat prestressed steel strands for Super T girders and balanced cantilever segments. Gianh Bridge was successfully closed on 9 November 2025. Once completed, the project will play an important role in completing the transport network, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, and promoting local socio-economic development.

The Dong Dang - Tra Linh and Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressways are two key projects in Northern Vietnam.
