Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Binh Duong Factory inaugurates C area

Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Binh Duong Factory on July 20^th 2019 inaugurated C Area at Song Than 2 Industrial Zone in the Tan Dong Hiep Ward, Di An Commune, Binh Dương Province. The C Area project was completed and brought into operation to timely meet with customers’ demand in the southern region which have been given special attention from Hoa Phat Group.

The event was attended by Mr Nguyen Manh Tuan – vice chairman of management board cum director of Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company Limited, Mr Nguyen Van Tuan – director of Hoa Phat Binh Duong –  Long An Steel Pipe Company, Mr Ngo Van Duc – deputy director of Hoa Phat Binh Duong –  Long An Steel Pipe Company, Mr Nguyen Quoc Hung, director of Hoa Phat Binh Duong Steel Pipe Company, Mr Nguyen Van Thong – deputy director of Hoa Phat Binh Duong Steel Pipe Factory, Mr Le Thanh Tuan – director of Long An Steel Pipe Company and representatives of customers, contractors and steel association and staffs.

Deployed from the end of 2018, the project of area C of Hoa Phat Binh Duong Steel Pipe Plant has a total area of 14,440sq.m, specialising in manufacturing galvanised steel pipe with an capacity of 80,500 tonnes per year to supply to the market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Van Tuan – director of Hoa Phat Binh Duong –  Long An Steel Pipe Company said: the factory’s expansion and moving the pipe bending workshop to C Area with modern machinery system specialised in galvanised corrugated pipe will contribute to increase the productivity and steel pipe production of the company to two times higher than the present, increasing the ability to supply high quality products for the Southern market.

The Southern region is one of key markets of Hoa Phat. In the first six months of the year, total sales of Hoa Phat Steel Pipe in this area was 115,500 tonnes, an increase of 14 per cent over the same period last year.

Having its presence in the southern region since 1999, over the past 20 years, Hoa Phat Binh Duong – Long An Steel Pipe Company with three areas of A, B, C have contributed to bring its steel pipe products to the Southeast and West regions. Steel pipe sales have been continuously increased year by year, confirming its leading positon in Vietnam with market share of 30 per cent.

Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company has invested into a project to install a 4325 large-sized pipe production line worth US$4 million for all main equipment and auxiliary machinery at Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Pipe Factory. This is the first large-sized steel pipe production project in the North, expected to launch the product in the fourth quarter of 2019.
