Hoa Phat Steel – 15 years of building leading position

The programme of gratitude to customers and the 15th anniversary of the establishment and development of Hoa Phat Steel (26/10 /2001-26 /10/2016) took place impressively and monumentally at Diamond Bay Resort Nha Trang from 21 to 23 March 2016. The ceremony left a good impression in the hearts of all guests attending the event.

The ceremony was attended by Tran Dinh Long, chairman of management board of Hoa Phat Group, Tran Tuan Duong, vice chairman cum general director, Doan Gia Cuong, vice chaiman, Nguyen Manh Tuan and all members of the management board; board of directors of member companies and staffs of two companies in the construction steel industry including Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company and Hoa Phat Steel One Member Company Ltd. Specially, the event was also attended by more than 400 partners and outstanding customers of Hoa Phat Steel both local and foreign countries.

Looking back the past 15 years, Tran Tuan Duong, vice chairman of Hoa Phat’s management board cum general director said: “Hoa Phat Steel has seen bg changes in terms of scale as well as position in the steel industry since 2001. From a factory in the northern Hung Yen Province with electric arc furnace technology, Hoa Phat becomes the only company in Viet Nam owning the steel production complex with modern and environmental friendly blast furnace technology. Hoa Phat Steel has capacity of 2.3 million tonnes, accounting for 20 per cent of the country’s market shares and taking the list nationwide with its best quality and diversified product system.

Responding to the sentiments of leaders of Hoa Phat Group, Nguyen Tien Trung - Hoa Binh Minh Corporation, who was attached to Hoa Phat steel right from the beginning of the market, had a very moving speech showing a long-term commitment to Hoa Phat. “Hoa Binh came to Hoa Phat Steel as a charm.
