Hoa Phat starts to invest the third industrial park in Hung Yen based on supporting industry model

On the morning of June 2, 2026, Hoa Phat Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 1 of the Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 02 in Yen My and Viet Tien communes, Hung Yen province. The project spans 296 hectares, with Phase 1 covering 235 hectares and requiring a total investment of nearly 2,823 billion VND. This is the third industrial park and the first supporting industrial park developed by Hoa Phat in Hung Yen.

Mr. Pham Quang Ngọc, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, along with other provincial leaders, local representatives from Yen My, Viet Tien, and Xuan Truc communes, and the leadership of Hoa Phat Group, performed the official button-pressing ceremony to launch the construction of Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 02.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with leaders from various provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities of Yen My, Viet Tien, and Xuan Truc communes.

Representing Hoa Phat Group were Mr. Hoang Quang Viet, Member of the Board of Management of Hoa Phat Group; Mr. Tran Kien Cuong, Director of Hoa Phat Urban Development and Construction JSC and Director of the Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company; alongside management board members from subsidiaries under the Hoa Phat Real Estate Corporation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, said: "In the first quarter of 2026, Hung Yen's economic growth reached 10.43%, ranking in the top 4 nationwide. Industrial park projects are key for the province to keep up its double-digit growth. Hung Yen Province thanks and praises the hard work of the local governments and people of Yen My, Viet Tien, and Xuan Truc communes, as well as the families who helped with land clearance. We ask the investor to focus resources on finishing the basic infrastructure quickly to attract secondary investors into business soon, helping the local economy grow.”

Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 02 has a strategic location right at the Yen My intersection, which directly connects the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway and the Hung Yen - Thai Binh highway.

From here, it is 20 km to the center of Hanoi, 65 km to Noi Bai International Airport, 25 km to Gia Bình International Airport, and 87 km to Dinh Vu Port in Hai Phong.

The industrial park operates as a supporting industrial park. It focuses on attracting manufacturers in electronics and telecommunications, precise engineering, automation, semiconductors, and high-value industries. It aims to become a connection point between supporting industry manufacturers and tech corporations from both Vietnam and abroad. The basic infrastructure is fully invested right from the start, including a 110/22kV power substation with a capacity of 2x63 MVA located inside the park, a clean water supply system connected to the fence of each factory with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day-night, and a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 7,000 m3/day-night, which can be expanded based on actual needs. Green spaces and water surfaces make up nearly 14.2% of the total area.

Linked with the industrial park system, Hoa Phat is developing a worker and social housing project in Yen My commune. Located about 5 km from Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 02, the project features nearly 9,000 apartments to meet the housing needs of workers employed at local industrial parks. This is part of Hoa Phat's strategy to combine industrial park infrastructure with social housing in key economic zones, while also supporting the Government's policy on developing social housing for workers.

By the time construction started on Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 02, Hoa Phat's total industrial land bank nationwide reached over 2,260 hectares, located in Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, and Hai Phong. The operating industrial parks—including Pho Noi A and Yen My II in Hung Yen, and Hoa Mac in Ninh Binh—have all reached an occupancy rate of about 95% for areas with completed infrastructure. These sites host hundreds of domestic and foreign manufacturers, including corporations from the US, Japan, South Korea, and Europe.

Construction vehicles gathered at the site, ready for the infrastructure development phase, with land handover to investors expected to begin in September 2026.

Hoa Phat Group commits to focusing its resources on deploying the project to ensure schedule, quality, and legal compliance, helping Hung Yen province achieve its goal of double-digit economic growth from 2026 to 2030.
