Hoa Phat sponsors free health checkups for the poor in Yen Bai Province

On July 23, Hoa Phat Group sponsored the free medical examination and health consultation program for nearly 300 ethnic minorities in poor households and policy families in Chau Que Ha Commune, Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province. On this occasion, Hoa Phat Group also gave gifts to patients, people with difficult circumstances, policy families, and sponsored medical equipment with a total value of VND160 million.

Chau Que Ha Commune is a particularly difficult commune, with 60 percent of the population being Dao, Tay, Phu La, etc. Many people have never been to the city and have never had a comprehensive health check-up. This is the reason why Hoa Phat Group cooperates with Bach Mai Hospital to carry out the initial medical examination and medical consultation program.

The program was implemented by leading doctors of Bach Mai Hospital with check-ups such as blood tests, urine tests, internal exams, cardiology, pediatrics, musculoskeletal, respiratory, ultrasound abdominal, electrocardiogram, and blood pressure measurement. Nearly 300 people according to the list recommended by Chau Que Ha Commune Health Station were all blood tested with 11 indicators such as peripheral cell analysis, urea quantification, glucose quantification, etc., and urine tests to serve as a basis for doctors to have the most accurate exam and check-ups.

In the early morning, hundreds of people were present at Chau Que Ha Commune Health Station for medical examination and treatment. Among them are veterans, people infected with Agent Orange, people at the age of over 70 with hands-on canes, heads wearing conical hats, and bare feet but still crossing 15-18 kilometers with the desire to be directly examined and treated by doctors from Bach Mai Hospital.
