Hoa Phat showcases high-speed rail steel at International Railway Exhibition

Within the framework of the International Exhibition and Conference on Railway Technology and Infrastructure (VRT&CONS 2025), Hoa Phat Group is presenting several specialized steel products for railway projects, including high-speed rail steel, urban railway rail steel, structural steel, and prestressed steel. The event takes place from November 12–15, 2025, at Hall H3, National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

This is the first international exhibition and conference dedicated to railway technology and infrastructure held in Vietnam. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy and attending delegates visited Hoa Phat’s booth. The Ministry’s leadership highly praised Hoa Phat’s steel manufacturing capabilities, particularly products serving transportation and railway infrastructure.

“To realize our aspiration of developing a modern railway system, we need strong cooperation and support from businesses across the supply chain, based on the principle that your success is also our success,” the Ministry representative said at the event.

Hoa Phat is currently developing a rail steel and structural steel manufacturing plant in Dung Quat. The output will include special steel products such as high-speed rail steel, urban railway rails, crane rails, structural steel (U, I, H, V), and other specialty steel. The plant is expected to begin producing rail steel in 2027, supplying key railway projects in Vietnam as well as international markets.

Hoa Phat is the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia and ranks among the world’s Top 30 steel companies. From 2026, Hoa Phat’s steel production capacity will reach 16 million tons per year, mainly comprising HRC steel and high-quality steel, helping fully meet domestic and international market demand.

According to the Organizing Committee, VRT&CONS 2025 brings together nearly 90 domestic and international companies and organizations from Germany, China, South Korea, Japan, Austria, Thailand, Malaysia, Switzerland, the UK, and many other countries and territories. With the theme “The future of Vietnam’s railways in the global supply chain,” the event is held from November 12–15, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
