The Top 50 Best-Performing Companies in Vietnam ranking is an annual, reputable list organized by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine in collaboration with Thien Viet Securities, with consultation from leading economic experts.

The ranking is based on the measurement of business performance over three consecutive years, using three key growth indicators: revenue, return on equity (ROE), and earnings per share (EPS). These metrics provide an objective evaluation of a company’s management capabilities.

In 2024, Hoa Phat recorded VND 140.56 trillion in revenue, up 17% year-on-year, and VND 12.02 trillion in post-tax profit, up 77% and exceeding its target by 20%. The steel segment remained the core business, contributing 93% of total revenue and 86% of total profit. Profit from the agricultural segment rose 4.6 times compared to 2023. Hoa Phat also paid over VND 13.4 trillion in taxes to the state budget — the highest amount in its history.

In the first half of 2025, Hoa Phat reported more than VND 74 trillion in revenue and over VND 7.6 trillion in post-tax profit, up 5% and 23% year-on-year, respectively. The Group contributed VND 7.1 trillion to the budgets of 20 provinces and cities across the country.

Hoa Phat is Vietnam’s leading industrial manufacturing group, providing employment for nearly 33,000 workers nationwide. The Group holds the No. 1 market share in construction steel and steel pipes, and ranks among the Top 5 coated steel producers. Hoa Phat also maintains leading market positions in clean egg production and commercial pig husbandry. Its clean eggs rank among the Top 3 largest producers in Vietnam and hold the No. 1 position in the northern region.

Hoa Phat has consistently been recognized in prestigious rankings, including seven consecutive appearances as a Vietnam Value national brand, 13 consecutive years in Forbes Vietnam’s Top 50 Listed Companies, and a 14-place rise in the Fortune 500 Southeast Asia list to No. 62 among the region’s top 100 companies. It is also among the Top 4 private enterprises contributing the most to Vietnam’s state budget.

Alongside its business activities, Hoa Phat dedicates hundreds of billions of VND annually to social responsibility initiatives in healthcare, education, transportation, and community development. These include funding the construction of more than 1,500 houses for disadvantaged families and policy beneficiaries, donating over 300 water purifiers to schools and healthcare facilities, and building Binh Dong Primary School in Quang Ngai Province.
