Hoa Phat kicks off 2026 with busy shipments across factories and farms

On February 23, 2026, member companies of Hoa Phat Group nationwide resumed their normal production and business operations following the Tet (Lunar New Year) Holiday. On the first working days of the Year of the Horse (Bính Ngọ), integrated complexes, factories, and farms welcomed a steady stream of new orders - ranging from hot-rolled coil (HRC), construction steel, steel pipes, and coated sheet to animal feed, eggs, and household electrical appliances.

Given the nature of industrial production, Hoa Phat’s steel complexes, factories, and farms maintained shift rotations and continuous operations throughout the Tet holiday to meet market demand. Many orders were executed immediately in the first days of the new spring season.

At the dedicated port of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel, vessels docked and cargo handling activities were bustling from the very start of the year. Employees worked at full capacity to deliver the first shipments to customers, with more than 9,000 tons of HRC dispatched.

Meanwhile, at the Hoa Phat Hai Duong Iron and Steel Integrated Complex, the first trucks loaded with finished steel products rolled out of the plant. In just the first two days of the new year, nearly 800 tons of construction steel and high-quality wire rod were delivered to the market. Trucks lined up at the complex to collect goods, creating a lively start to the year.

At the beginning of the Bính Ngọ spring, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe recorded sales of 2,000 tons of finished steel pipes and 500 tons of steel coil input materials. The company has maintained the No 1 market share in Vietnam for ten consecutive years. In 2025, steel pipe output reached nearly 850,000 tons, accounting for 31.2 per cent of total market share.

Hoa Phat Steel Sheet also kicked off the year on a strong note, shipping hundreds of tons of products across the North, Central, and South regions on the sixth day of Tet.  

More than 175,000 kilos of color-coated and cold-coated steel sheets were delivered in its first transactions of the year.

In the heavy industry segment, Hoa Phat Metal Manufacturing Company began the year with a contract to supply 66,666 kilos of prestressed steel for major infrastructure projects, including the Ninh Binh–Hai Phong Expressway (CT08), the Cho Moi–Bac Kan Expressway, and Hanoi’s Ring Road 4. The Hoa Phat Prestressed Steel Plant saw a constant flow of trucks transporting PC Bar, PC Strand, and PC Wire to construction sites. On February 23 alone, more than 250 tons of PC Bar were shipped in the company’s first orders of the year.

The agriculture segment also reported positive momentum. Hoa Phat Animal Feed Company opened the year with a 35-ton shipment to Quang Tri province, supporting farmers in restocking their herds after Tet.

Hoa Phat’s poultry farms harvested nearly 927,000 eggs, of which approximately 889,500 - including both standard eggs and Sonia-branded eggs - were delivered to the market.

The household appliance segment was equally vibrant. Hoa Phat Home Appliances Ha Nam shipped more than 400 dehumidifiers to Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces, just as northern Vietnam entered its characteristic humid early-spring season.
