Hoa Phat in Top 10 best companies in Viet Nam 2016

Viet Nam Report and VietnamNet online newspaper on January 19^th 2017 at Daewoo Hotel in Ha Noi announced the list of 500 largest companies and best companies in Viet Nam 2016.  Hoa Phat Group was honoured at the two rankings with high positions.

Accordingly, Hoa Phat Group was listed in the Top 40 largest firms in Viet Nam, taking 7^th position in the top 500 largest private companies and top 10 of Viet Nam Best Companies which have best revenue growth in 2011-15 period, effective operation and contribution to the State budget in 2016.

This has been the 9^th consecutive year Hoa Phat Group and its subsidiaries took the high positions in the Top 500 largest companies in Viet Nam. According to Viet Nam Report, Hoa Phat held the 7^th position in Top 10 largest private companies. It took the 34^th position in the Top 500 largest companies, jumping 3 places in comparison with the VNR500 2015 with revenue of VND27.8 trillion. The results have shown sustainable and strong development of Hoa Phat Group despite of difficulties in the economy. With the good results, Hoa Phat contributed VND3.4 trillion to the State budget in 2016.

Many subsidiaries of the group were also listed in the VNR500 ranking such as Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company Ltd, Hoa Phat Energy Joint Stock Company and Hoa Phat Furniture Joint Stock Company.

The organiser said Hoa Phat has affirmed its outstanding position in the Vietnamese business community in terms of scale, after-tax profit, active contribution to the State budget and the most rapid growth rate in 2012-15 period as it was listed in both VNR500 and Viet Nam The Best Companies. This has been an excellent success which should be given recognition from the business community and society.

The award ceremony was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Information and Communications, the National Financial Supervision Committee, ambassadors, trade counsellors from countries and international organisations such as European Union in Viet Nam, Russia, Canada, Netherlands, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, JETRO, economists both inside and outside the country and more than 400 representatives of largest firms in Viet Nam.
