Hoa Phat honored in Top 5 largest private enterprises in Vietnam

On November 26, 2019, Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) in collaboration with Vietnamnet Newspaper announced VNR500 Ranking - Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam in 2019. This year, Hoa Group Phat is among the 20 largest enterprises in Vietnam, and 5th in the top 10 largest private enterprises in Vietnam.

This is the 13th successive year the VNR500 Ranking has been researched and published to honor the largest enterprises in Vietnam, achieving remarkable achievements in production and business activities. Hoa Phat also has 12 consecutive years in the group of 50 largest enterprises, Top 10 largest private enterprises in Vietnam.

With the scale of operation spread over 25 provinces and cities across the country and a representative office in Singapore, in 2018, Hoa Phat achieved the highest profit after tax of VND 8.600 billion. Total state budget remittance for the year was VND 6,388 billion, an increase of 32% compared to 2017. Hoa Phat's remittance amount in 2018 was equivalent to the 34th of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.

VNR500 rankings in 2019 continue to witness the growth of businesses in the Service and Industry group, accounting for more than 98% of the revenue proportion in 2019. Return on assets (ROA) of the whole Enterprise in VNR500 Ranking in 2019 is 2,78.

Meanwhile, the return on assets (ROA) of HPG in the last 3 years has fluctuated in the range of 11-20%, the return on equity is about 21-33%, which is high compared to the average level. In the first 9 months, HPG completed 84% of profit after tax in 2019 with VND 5,655 billion. Hoa Phat's financial indicators have achieved good results.

The official announcement and honoring ceremony of VNR500 Ranking Table of 2019 is expected to be held on January 9, 2020 at InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel, Hanoi.
