Hoa Phat honored in the top 25 leading brands in the personal consumer goods and industrial category in Vietnam

October 17, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, Forbes Vietnam organized a ceremony to honor 25 leading brands in the personal consumer goods and industrial category in Vietnam. Hoa Phat Group continues to be listed in the rankings with a brand value valued at US$328 million.

This is the eighth consecutive year Forbes Vietnam has created a brand list and the third year it has calculated company brands by sectors. The 2023 list focuses on a group of companies in the personal consumer goods and industrial sector. Forbes Vietnam determines brand value based on financial data.

If considered by sector, in 2023, Hoa Phat Group takes the lead in the construction materials industry, far ahead of the second-ranked enterprise with a value of 6.8 times. The Hoa Phat brand also maintains its leading position in the construction materials industry throughout the ranking periods with its value constantly growing over the years.

Hoa Phat not only holds the No. 1 market share in Vietnam in the industries of construction steel, steel pipes, and Top 5 steel sheet enterprises, but also take the lead in the North in clean chicken egg output.

In 2022, Hoa Phat Group recorded a revenue of VND142 trillion, and after-tax profit of more than VND8.4 trillion. In the first half of 2023, Hoa Phat Group achieved VND56.6 trillion in revenue and more than VND1.83 trillion in after-tax profit, reaching 23 per cent of the whole year’s set plan.
