Hoa Phat honored in the top 10 Strong Brands - Excellent Business 2022-2023

On October 6^th, Vietnam Economic Magazine (VnEconomy) held a ceremony to announce and honor Vietnam Strong Brands 2023. Hoa Phat Group was honored in the Top 10 Strong Brands - Excellent Business 2023. This is the 12th consecutive time Hoa Phat was listed in the ranking.

Businesses with excellent and impressive production and business results are surveyed, announced and honored annually on the criteria of pioneering innovation, digital transformation, applying the most advanced science and technology, creating new breakthroughs in the production value chain, business and trade of products/services; high brand value which is evaluated and valued by reputable domestic and international organizations etc.

In 2022, Hoa Phat recorded a revenue of VND142 trillion and after-tax profit of more than VND8.4 trillion. In the first half of 2023, Hoa Phat Group achieved VND56.6 trillion in revenue and more than VND1.83 trillion in after-tax profit, reaching 23 per cent of the whole year’s set plan.

Since the beginning of 2021, Hoa Phat Group has begun implementing a digital transformation roadmap that is more in-depth, seamless, leaner, and smarter with the goal of creating new value in the supply chain and improving EBITDA.

Hoa Phat's iron and steel production complexes are invested in modern, andclosed-loop technology solutions. This solution allows for the complete recovery of all excess heat and gas in the process of coking coal, blast furnaces, and steel making to operate generators, contributing to reducing emissions that cause the greenhouse effect. Hoa Phat's electricity output reaches billions of kWh a year, helping the group be self-sufficient in about 80 per cent of electricity production, saving energy and reducing production costs.

Hoa Phat not only holds the No. 1 market share in Vietnam in the construction steel, steel pipes, and Top 5 corrugated iron enterprises, but also take the lead in the North in clean chicken egg output.
