Hoa Phat hired a flight to pick up 15 foreign experts to Dung Quat

On May 24^th 2020, the 9H-NYC flight picked up 15 senior experts of contractor Danieli (Italy), departing from Zagreb Airport (Croatia) landed at Danang International Airport. After completing entry procedures, these experts have to stay in isolation at The Harmonia Hotel in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai.

Nearly at noon on May 24^th 2020, foreign experts safely landed at Danang airport. They all wore protective gear to prevent pandemic

 15 experts of Daniell are from Croatia, Italy and Slovenia and all are negative with Covid-19 before departure. Those are high-tech specialists who are given priority to enter Vietnam to handle the final stages of hot rolled coild (HRC) line, in phase 2 - Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Integrated Complex. After a 14-day isolation period and performing necessary tests to ensure health, they will immediately start aligning equipment lines, consulting instructions, transferring technology to the Hoa Phat Dung Quat management and operation team.

With a capacity of 2.5 million tpy, Hoa Phat's HRC production line is provided by Danieli. Until the end of August, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel will finish the process of equipment alignment, proceeding trial and strive to have HRC products supplied to the market in September.  The cost of hiring a special Lineage 1000 aircraft to pick up the aforementioned experts to Vietnam is over 200,000 US dollars.

Previously, on May 20^th, 2020, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company released and submitted the plan to organize the transportation and isolation for foreign experts following the regulations to the provincial People's Committee and functional departments of Quang Ngai such as Department of Health, Quang Ngai’s Center of disease control, Provincial police, Binh Son District Health Center, People's Committee of Binh Dong Commune.

The company has arranged 3 isolation places managed by Hoa Phat including Harmonia hotel, auxiliary area and B dormitory area. During the quarantine, foreign experts will be sampled twice for Covid-19 testing.

The aircraft was arranged in a separate landing zone, carrying out all entry procedures.

Authorities at the airport arrange separate entry areas for the delegation

Under the strict supervision of the Binh Son district and Quang Ngai province authorities, at about 3pm on the same day, a 45-seat bus welcoming 15 Danieli experts and health workers, serving the delegation arrived at the hotel. The Harmonia, Dung Quat EZ, where has been carefully sprayed disinfected and prepared all epidemic prevention procedures.

Specialists remove protective gear, antiseptic before checking in at the hotel

Quang Ngai medical staff took samples of Covid-19 test for experts at the hotel and sent samples to Paster Nha Trang Institute. It is expected that the results will be given in the afternoon of May 25^th 2020.
