Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel JSC hands over the VND6.5 billion Hiep Son Kindergarten

On the afternoon of January 21, 2022, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a 3-storey building to Hiep Son Kindergarten worth VND6.5 billion.

The company’s Board of Directors, local leaders and the school’s management board cut the ribbon to inaugurate Hiep Son Kindergarten

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duc Duyen, the company’s Deputy Director, Mr. Do Duc Don, the company’s Deputy General Director. On behalf of Hiep Son Ward, Mr. Tran Van Co, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, Mr. Tran Van Chuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and the school's management board attended the event. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the ceremony was held briefly, ensuring the 5K distance as prescribed.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Principal of the school thanked local leaders, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company for their interest in investing in building facilities for Hiep Son Kindergarten so that she and her students could have a new and spacious school.

The project started construction in December 2019 with a scale of 3 floors including 8 classrooms and 1 school council room. In addition to investing in infrastructure construction, the company also sponsored all furniture, toys and teaching aids for each class worth VND350 million.

Hiep Son Kindergarten is one of many social security projects and activities that Hoa Phat Group has implemented in the area. The project contributes to join hands with local authorities in the modernization of electrical works, roads, schools and stations of Kinh Mon Town.
