Hoa Phat Group sold nearly 200,000 pigs in H1

In the first six months of the year, the total pig sale of Hoa Phat Group reached nearly 200,000 commercial pigs and breeding pigs which was equal to the same period last year.

Hoa Phat Group’s pig farms are well-invested, with a capacity of nearly 450,000 pigs a year

Hoa Phat Group’s pig farms are considered as one of the most modern breeding models in Vietnam, which are applied large-scale, modern, self-contained breeding model and certified with VietGAP standard process. All of Hoa Phat Group's breeds are imported directly from Denmark with outstanding advantages in reproductive productivity, strong growth, and optimal meat quality.

Listed in the top of the livestock industry, the company’s number of weaned cows is over 30 heads per sow a year while the industry average in Vietnam is 22 heads per sow a year. The number in industrial livestock companies are 26-27 weaners per sow a year.

With good herd development ability, after six years, Hoa Phat Group's livestock scale in 2021 reached nearly 450,000 pigs and breeding pigs. Hoa Phat's pig farm system has been located in Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, and Binh Phuoc provinces.

In the three-year period of 2019-2021, Hoa Phat Livestock Development Joint Stock Company recorded relatively good revenue and profit. In 2020, the company’s revenue increased double and profit was 5 times higher than that in 2019. In 2021, due to the prolonged impact of the COVID-91 pandemic, which reduced supply demand, the company's revenue and profit still remained stable.

Its total contribution to the State budget in the last three years has been increased rapidly. In 2019, the company's contribution to the State budget was only VND2 billion, but in 2020, this figure was up to VND40 billion, 20 times higher after one year. In 2021, despite a decrease in revenue due to the impact of the COVID-19, the company's contribution to the State budget still reached VND49 billion, an increase of 22 per cent compared to 2020.

In parallel with production and business activities, the company has always interested in activities showing their corporate social responsibility (CSR) such as giving Tet gifts to the poor, visiting and giving gifts to policy families and those with disadvantaged situation. At the same time, it has regularly sponsored equipment and facilities for local education, training and sports activities. The amount contributed to the fund increases year by year.

By 2025, the company aims to reach 25,000 breeding sows and annually supply 750,000 commercial pigs to the market.
