Hoa Phat Group ranked among Vietnam’s Top 10 largest enterprises

On November 12, 2025, Vietnam Report JSC, in coordination with VietNamNet, announced the VNR500 Ranking – Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam for 2025. Hoa Phat Group was honored as the second-largest private enterprise and one of the Top 10 largest enterprises in Vietnam.

The VNR500 Ranking, modeled after the Fortune 500, has been announced annually since 2007. It honors enterprises that have made significant contributions to Vietnam’s economic development and helps promote corporate brands to the domestic and international business communities.

The key ranking criteria include revenue, profit, growth rate, total assets, and total number of employees. Hoa Phat Group has been recognized in the ranking for 18 consecutive years.

In 2024, Hoa Phat recorded VND 140,560 billion in revenue, up 17% year-on-year; after-tax profit reached VND 12,020 billion, up 77% and 20% higher than the annual plan. The steel segment continued to play a dominant role, contributing 93% of revenue and 86% of the Group’s profit. Profit from the agricultural segment increased 4.6 times compared to 2023. Hoa Phat contributed more than VND 13,400 billion to the State budget, the highest ever.

In the first nine months of 2025, the Group posted VND 111,031 billion in revenue, up 5%, and after-tax profit of VND 11,626 billion, up 26% year-on-year.

Hoa Phat group ranks among Vietnam’s Top 10 Largest Enterprises

Hoa Phat is the only Vietnamese enterprise capable of producing hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel, and it maintains the No. 1 market share in construction steel and steel pipes. The Group also retains leading positions in clean eggs, commercial pigs, and Australian beef supplied to the market.

As the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, and equivalent to the Top 30 steel enterprises globally, from 2026 Hoa Phat’s steel production capacity will reach 16 million tonnes per year, primarily HRC and high-quality steel, helping to fully meet domestic and international market demand.

In 2025, Hoa Phat also appeared in several prestigious rankings, including: Top 4 Largest Private Taxpayers Nationwide, Top 50 Best-Performing Companies, Top 100 Largest Companies in Southeast Asia by Fortune, and Top 10 Leading Value-Creating Enterprises in Vietnam 2025 – Building Materials Sector.

Alongside its business activities, Hoa Phat allocates hundreds of billions of VND each year to implement various social responsibility programs in healthcare, education, transportation, and community development. These include supporting the construction of more than 1,500 houses for low-income families and policy beneficiaries, donating water purifiers to schools and medical facilities, and funding the construction of Binh Dong Primary School in Quang Ngai.
