Hoa Phat Group donates VND3 billion to support COVID-19 prevention

On May 14, 2021, a representative of Hoa Phat Group donated VND2 billion to leaders of the Central Tropical Hospital 2 (Dong Anh) and VND1 billion to K Hospital 3 (Tan Trieu), with a desire to support doctors, patients and families to overcome the current period of concentrated isolation due to COVID-19 pandemic.

During the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2021, the K Hospital 3 and the Central Tropical Hospital 2 (Dong Anh) became the most crowded isolation areas with risks of cross-infection due to patients whose severe underlying disease. Hoa Phat Group hopes to partly join hands to help the hospitals quickly repel the pandemic, ensure the safety for medical staff and patients.

The group also donates VND1 billion to K Hospital

 Since the first outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam, Hoa Phat Group has donated a total of VND23 billion to the Fund of the Ministry of Health, the Central Tropical Hospital, K Hospital, the Fatherland Front Committee in Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Hai Duong and Hung Yen in cash and medical equipment. The group's member companies also organize practical activities to support local people and authorities with masks, sanitizer, cash etc.

With a system of factories and farms spreading across the country, Hoa Phat Group has actively applied strict measures to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring both pandemic prevention and maintaining production and business in accordance with the spirit of the Government’s direction.
