Hoa Phat Group donates VND3 billion and 30 freezers to support Bac Giang in COVID-19 prevention

On May 20, 2021, Hoa Phat Group's leaders donated VND3 billion and 30 freezers to support Bac Giang Province in the fight against COVID-19. Earlier, on May 18, 2021, Hoa Phat also supported 70,000 chicken eggs and 4 tonnes of pork meat to isolation areas, hospitals and quarantine points of Bac Giang Province and Son Dong District.

Mr. Duong Van Thai - Secretary of Bac Giang’s Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the timely support of Hoa Phat Group. The province is mobilising all resources to stamp out the pandemic as quickly as possible, ensuring implementation of dual goals, creating a safe environment to attract investment. As of this morning, Bac Giang had 618 cases of COVID-19 infection, making the province to isolate 4 districts and the whole Bac Giang City. The number of COVID-19 infected people is still increasing rapidly by several dozen cases per day in Bac Giang Province, mostly concentrated in Quang Chau and Van Trung Industrial Zones, Viet Yen District.

In addition to VND3 billion in cash, Hoa Phat Group also donated 30 freezers to support Bac Giang Province in the fight against the COVID-19

Hoa Phat Group has donated VND27 billion to support the prevention of COVID-19 pandemic to the Fund of the Ministry of Health, Central Tropical Hospital, K Hospital, Fatherland Front Committees in Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Bac Giang in cash, food and medical equipment etc.

Starting operation in Bac Giang Province since 2016, Hoa Phat Group has always actively participated in local activities, well performed social security work, creating jobs and stable incomes for more than 200 local people.
