Hoa Phat Group donates VND10 billion for COVID-19 prevention in Hung Yen Province

On June 18^th 2021, Mr Hoang Quang Viet, Director of Hoa Phat Construction and Urban Development JSC, on behalf of Hoa Phat Group donated VND10 billion to support the COVID-19 pandemic fight and prevention in the northern province of Hung Yen. Hoa Phat Group has made a donation of nearly VND117 billion to support ministries and localities in COVID-19 prevention so far.

Hoa Phat Group donates VND10 billion to Hung Yen Province in COVID-19 prevention

The meeting to call for supports from businesses and people in COVID-19 prevention of Hung Yen Province received donations and contributions of more than 200 organizations and businesses in the province with total of VND80 billion.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr Tran Quoc Van, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated responsibility and sharing of organizations and business community. The contribution has helped the province timely implement solutions in the fight and prevention of the COVID-19, ensuring social security and people’s lives. The donation would be given priorities in buying COVID-19 vaccine for people in the province.

In addition to applying solutions for pandemic’s fighting and prevention to maintain production and businesss, Hoa Phat Group has been active in donations to the pandemic prevention of the Ministry of Health, the Central Tropical Hospital, K Hospital, Fatherland Front Committee in Da Nang, Quang Nam in cash, food and medical equipment etc. The Hoa Phat Group has supported to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic of nearly VND117 billion, of which, Hung Yen Province alone is about VND14 billion.
