Hòa Phát Group sponsored a variety of roofing sheets tailored to the construction unit's design specifications. These high-quality corrugated sheets, embossed to resemble tiles, have a thickness of 0.40 AZ50 and are reinforced with heat-resistant foam. The products were delivered to the construction team through Hòa Phát Steel's dealer in Lào Cai. The total delivery included over 17,000 m² of roofing sheets and 4,500 m² of roofing accessories.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Khánh, Director of Lào Cai Steel and Iron Joint Stock Company, Hòa Phát's corrugated sheet dealer in the province, shared: "In response to Hòa Phát Group’s request, we proactively ensured the timely delivery of goods, maintaining both quality and quantity to meet the project’s construction phases. Despite challenging conditions, such as bad weather and landslides that impacted traffic, our team carried each sheet from the main road to the construction site. With a sense of urgency and a commitment to the project’s timeline, we successfully delivered all the sponsored materials as promised."

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Đặng Xuân Phong, Secretary of the Lào Cai Provincial Party Committee, expressed sincere gratitude to the organizations, individuals, and businesses that supported the reconstruction of local villages. He highlighted the tremendous support received during the worst of the natural disasters and floods, which has enabled the people in affected areas to recover swiftly and begin the Tết (Lunar New Year) in new, secure homes.

Previously, to assist the local population in stabilizing their lives after the storm and floods, Hòa Phát Group donated VNĐ10 billion to Lào Cai Province. This contribution helped residents recover from the impact of Storm No. 3 (Yagi), rebuild homes, and improve their living conditions.

Hòa Phát’s support took several forms, including sponsoring the construction of 28 new, durable houses in A Lù Commune, Bát Xát District, with a total value of VNĐ5.6 billion. The group also provided roofing sheets for 55 local homes, as well as for schools and community centers in Làng Nủ and Nậm Tông, totaling VNĐ2.6 billion. Additionally, the Group’s employees donated 2,000 gifts worth VNĐ2 billion to residents in Bát Xát, Bắc Hà and Bảo Yên Districts. This initiative is part of Hòa Phát's ongoing charitable efforts to support those affected by Storm Yagi.
