Hoa Phat Group achieves 78% of its annual profit target after nine months

In the third quarter of 2025, Hoa Phat Group recorded VND 36,794 billion in revenue and VND 4,012 billion in after-tax profit, up 7% and 33% respectively compared to the same period in 2024. For the first nine months of the year, the Group achieved VND 111,031 billion in revenue, an increase of 5%, and VND 11,626 billion in after-tax profit, up 26% year-on-year. The Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Integrated Steel Complex project in Quang Ngai Province has been completed.

For 2025, Hoa Phat has set business targets of VND 170,000 billion in revenue and VND 15,000 billion in after-tax profit. With the current results, the Group has completed 65% of its revenue and 78% of its profit plans after nine months. The steel segment and related products remained the main contributors, accounting for 93% of total revenue and 83% of after-tax profit.

In Q3 2025, Hoa Phat produced 2.8 million tonnes of crude steel, up 14% from Q2 and 35% from the same period in 2024. Sales of hot-rolled coil (HRC), construction steel, high-quality steel, and steel billets reached 2.5 million tonnes, down 4% quarter-on-quarter but up 21% year-on-year.

For the first nine months of 2025, Hoa Phat produced 7.9 million tonnes of crude steel, an increase of 23% compared to the same period in 2024. Sales of HRC, construction steel, high-quality steel, and steel billets totaled 7.4 million tonnes, up 22% year-on-year.

Hoa Phat continues to focus on developing high-quality steel products serving key industries such as mechanical engineering, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, home appliances, steel structures, and energy. The Group is also accelerating the rail and structural steel plant project in Dung Quat as planned. The factory is expected to start producing rail steel in 2027, serving Vietnam’s key railway projects and export markets.

Hoa Phat Group is the largest steel manufacturer in Southeast Asia with a production capacity comparable to the world’s Top 30 steel companies. From 2026, Hoa Phat’s steel production capacity will reach 16 million tonnes per year, mainly comprising HRC and high-quality steel, sufficiently meeting the needs of both domestic and global markets.
