Hoa Phat exported over 500,000 tons of steel grades B500B, and 500B that qualified for the UKCares certificate.

A total of more than 500,000 tons of steel grades B500B and 500B have been exported by Hoa Phat Dung Quat since the beginning of the year. This accounts for 45% of Hoa Phat Steel's export volume in the past 11 months. This high-quality steel grade has been certified by UKCares to British standards BS4449 and CS2:2012.

Hoa Phat has exported more than 500,000 tons of steel grade B500B, and 500B with UKCares certification.

Earlier in October 2021, UK Cares in the United Kingdom granted Hoa Phat Dung Quat's steel bar grades D10 to D40 certificate for meeting 3 standards: BS 4449: 2005, SS 560: 2016, and CS2: 2012, grade B500B. This is the necessary certification when exporting to the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Middle Eastern countries.

Soon after obtaining the UKCares certification, steel bar grades B500B and 500B attracted the interest of many partners. Some months,  export orders reached nearly 100,000 tons. The 500B grade with the CS2 standard  provided for the Hong Kong market, and the B500B grade  with the SS560 standard is exported to  the Singapore market.

In comparison with other standards, the UK Cares certificate has a special feature that requires the fatigue test or the steel’s long-term bearing capacity (steel bars must be intact after testing 5 million different force cycles at the laboratory). Hoa Phat steel meets these tests well.B500B and 500B are both construction steel bars for large projects which demand the steel’s long-term bearing capacity  

The UK Cares certificate also requires many other criteria such as chemical composition, product mechanical properties, geometrical parameters, macro parameters, identification on the product surface. Products meet the requirements of strict control from input materials to the production process, product’s label information, production traceability, and data updates on Cares' homepage (All product information must be searched on the phone from barcodes). 

Therefore, UK Cares can be considered a "passport" for Hoa Phat steel to enter the UK and other fastidious markets. Besides, Hoa Phat construction steel has been certified in accordance with many rigorous standards of the world such as JIS (Japan), ASTM (USA), and BS (UK), ...

In the past 11 months, Hoa Phat Group has exported 1.1 million tons of construction steel (including high-quality steel bars and wire rod) to many different countries and territories such as Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, Canada, etc. A total of 45% of the export volume was accounted for UK Cares standard steel.
