On December 4–5, Hoa Phat Group donated 2,000 home appliances products along with over 130 computer sets and televisions to residents, administrative and educational units in Dak Lak province. Previously, the enterprise supported flood-hit areas with 100,000 sq.m of roofing steel sheets, aiming to help locals and authorities stabilize their lives soon after the natural disaster.

Mr. Vu Quang Huy – Deputy Director of Infrastructure Management at Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, representing Hoa Phat Group, hands over gifts to residents in the flood-hit region of Dak Lak.
The gifts were delivered directly by Hoa Phat Group to two heavily damaged areas: Hoa Xuan commune and Dong Hoa ward. These are areas that suffered deep flooding, where many families lost all household belongings and sustained severe housing damage following the storms and floods.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, extended thanks to the Board of Directors and all employees of Hoa Phat Group in general, and Hoa Phat Phu Yen Company in particular. According to Mr. Van, during the rescue phase, the company's forces actively coordinated with local authorities to transport goods, support evacuations, and supply essentials to assist the people. When the water receded, Hoa Phat's roofing sheets and household appliances arrived in a timely manner, helping many families quickly restore their homes.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, speaks at the program.
"After the historic flood, most of the people's household belongings were swept away or heavily damaged. Therefore, the rice cookers and electric kettles donated at this time are extremely practical. As soon as the power grid is restored, residents will have the utensils to cook hot meals, ensuring their health and continuing to rebuild their lives," said Mr. Nguyen Thien Van.

Ms. Hoang Cam Tu, Director of Communications at Hoa Phat Group, stated: "These gifts represent the sharing heart of 30,000 Group employees, helping residents stabilize their lives soon and overcome difficulties after the natural disaster."
As one of the households suffering heavy damage after the storm and flood, Ms. Dang Thi Diep, from Hoa Xuan commune, shared: "The water rose to the roof, and all property in the house was damaged. Everything—furniture, clothes, food—was lost. After the floodwaters receded, my family still hasn't been able to fully recover. In the first days after the flood, villagers came to help and provided food for the family. However, recovering financial losses is still very difficult because we lost almost all our assets. Receiving timely concern and support from Hoa Phat Group, I am very grateful and moved. These are all essential items that we desperately need."

"My family's economy mainly depends on farming land, but currently, the land is severely affected and cannot be cultivated. We have lost everything, no buffaloes, no furniture. With the gifts Hoa Phat has given, I believe that we residents of Hoa Xuan commune are all very pleased and grateful to the Group. Thank you, Hoa Phat," expressed Ms. Nguyen Thi Nap, from Hoa Xuan commune.
