Hoa Phat Australia’s first cow batch on the way to Vietnam

In 2019, Hoa Phat Group has established a company specialized in purchasing cow in Australia. The first batch carried out by Hoa Phat Australia, which is 4,500 Australian cows, is on the way to Vietnam and expected to land in mid-May.

Hoa Phat constantly executes the strategy to gradually have self-control and closed-loop production chain. To invest in an Australia-based company is one step to complete the Group’s business chain of raising cattle.

With the operation of Hoa Phat Australia, Hoa Phat Group’s cow farms will be sufficiently supplied, then the Group will also be able to supply other livestock companies. At the same time, Hoa Phat will have the capability to execute close control for imported beef quality, starting with picking cows originated from Australia farms.

Hoa Phat currently has the biggest market share of Australia beef in Vietnam, accounts for 50% of market volume.

In order to supply material for Hoa Phat Steel Integrated Complexes in Hai Duong and Quang Ngai province, Hoa Phat Australia’s representative is promoting the search for investment projects in coal and ore.
