In the second quarter of 2026, Hoa Phat Agriculture (HPA) sold over 90,500 tons of animal feed, 102,000 pigs, and 86 million chicken eggs. Accumulated over six months, the volume of animal feed supplied to the market grew 9% year-on-year.

In the animal feed segment, commercial sales in the second quarter reached over 46,000 tons, higher than the first quarter. Internal supply reached nearly 44,500 tons, up over 9% compared to the first quarter, pushing total second-quarter consumption up nearly 5% compared to the previous quarter.

For pig farming, commercial market pig volume in the quarter reached nearly 76,000 heads, up 17% compared to the first quarter. Weaned pig sales reached over 26,300 heads, down from the first quarter as the company actively increased its herd size at the Minh Duc farm. Gilt sales supplied to the market more than doubled compared to the previous quarter.

In the chicken farming segment, egg production reached 86.1 million eggs, rising slightly compared to the first quarter. The beef segment delivered over 2,600 cows, which is lower than the first quarter as the company actively adjusted its scale due to supply chain challenges in the market.

Accumulated for the first six months of the year, Hoa Phat Agriculture sold nearly 177,000 tons of animal feed, over 212,000 pigs, more than 10,000 cows, and 170.7 million chicken eggs.

Hoa Phat animal feed is now distributed through more than 600 agents nationwide. All products are free of preventive antibiotics and growth stimulants, meeting the new rules that officially took effect on January 1, 2026. The optimal nutritional formulas are tested across large-scale DanBred breeding pigs and Hy Line chickens at internal farms before being supplied to the market.

For pig farming, sales volume in the first half of the year included over 140,000 commercial market pigs, over 72,000 weaned pigs, and nearly 1,200 gilts. HPA currently operates 8 farms with a sow herd of 25,000 heads, maintaining 100% self-sufficiency in breeding stock from Great Grandparent and Parent stock to DanBred commercial pigs imported from Denmark. Reproductive productivity reaches 33 to 34 weaned pigs per sow per year, which is 1.5 times the industry average.

The chicken egg segment remained stable with a six-month output of 170.7 million eggs, up nearly 2% compared to the same period last year. On average, nearly 1 million eggs are delivered daily to the market through traditional channels, supermarkets, food factories, hotels, schools, and exports to Laos and Cambodia, helping HPA secure its number 1 market share position for clean chicken eggs in northern Vietnam. In the beef segment, HPA is expanding its supply sources beyond Australian cattle to maintain output and operational efficiency.

In 2026, Hoa Phat Agriculture plans to reach VND7,200 billion in revenue and VND1,005 billion in profit after tax, with a focus on expanding pig farming and increasing animal feed production. HPA pursues a closed-loop farming model - from feed and breeding stock to commercial farming - as its core strategy to control costs, manage diseases, and maintain profit margins. After more than 10 years of development, HPA holds the number 1 position in supplying Australian cattle and clean chicken eggs in northern Vietnam, ranks in the top 10 for sow herd size, and is among the top 13 largest animal feed manufacturers in Vietnam.
