Hoa Phat’s steel sheet supplied for Apple’s spare part manufacturers in Vietnam

Hoa Phat’s galvanized steel sheet has been chosen in production expansion project of Foxconn Bac Giang with total area of 25,000 - 26,000sq.m. In addition, its high quality galvanized steel sheet has also been used in the construction sites of Luxshare Bac Giang and Luxshare Nghe An. Curently, these are the major partners supplying spare parts for Apple in Vietnam.

Accordingly, Hoa Phat’s galvanized steel sheet is used to install ventilation duct system at construction projects in Bac Giang and Nghe An of Foxconn and Luxshare, contributing to ensure cooling and ventilation at their factories. To install this ventilation system, galvanized steel sheet products must meet standards of quality, steel sheet strength and bending to form. Galvanized surface must be ensured evenly smooth and free from stains.

According to Ricons Construction Investment Group - the projects’ contractor, Hoa Phat’s galvanized steel sheet has high quality, meeting technical requirements for the above ventilation system. The Eurowind Joint Stock Company, the project’s subcontractor is carrying out the production and installation of each component item.

Foxconn is one of the largest manufacturers of electronic spare parts and computer in the world. In particular, the group is the manufacturer of iPhones for Apple, Amazon’s Kindle e-reader and Google’s Pixel phones. Foxconn factory in Quang Chau Industrial Park (northern province of Bac Giang) is the group's 5th factory in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Luxshare - ICT is a group with many years of experience in the field of manufacturing consumer electronic spare parts and other products, joining in the supply chain for Apple.

With equipment line imported from Europe, Hoa Phat’s galvanized steel sheet meets the most strict standards of JIS - Japan, ASTM – the US, BSEN – the UK, AS – Australia with tensile strength of  ≥ 270 N per mm2 and base steel thickness of 0.25 - 3.0 (mm). Hoa Phat’s steel sheet has been quickly affirmed its position with brands that have been presented in the market for a long time.

Before being installed in the big projects, Hoa Phat’s steel sheet has been provided to many other projects such as Sunhouse Factory, Vinfast Hai Phong, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex.

In Vietnam, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Company Ltd is the first Vietnamese manufacturing enterprise to be self-sufficient in input materials, thanks to the hot-rolled coil (HRC) product of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex. This is a huge advantage, thus helping Hoa Phat promote its domination in the steel sheet market with competitive prices and high quality from input to output and increase export volume.
