Hoa Phat’s member companies listed in the Top 1000 largest taxpayers

The General Department of Taxation has announced a list of the 1000 largest corporate income tax payers (CIT) in 2019, so-called V.1000. Seven member companies of Hoa Phat Group were honored in the list.

In the list of V.1000 in 2019, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company took the 26th in the Top 30 largest corporate income tax payers. It was followed by Hoa Phat Steel Pipe, Hoa Phat Energy, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, Hoa Phat Furniture, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Industrial Park Infrastructure Development and Hoa Phat Da Nang Steel Pipe.

According to the General Department of Taxation, enterprises named in the V1000 list include: enterprises established under Vietnamese laws, foreign enterprises, and other organisations with production and business activities with corporate income in accordance with the CIT Law. For groups and corporations, the parent company, each subsidiary, each member company in the group or corporation are an independent firm in the ranking.

Earlier, Hoa Phat Group was one of Top 30 largest tax payers honoured by the Ministry of Finance at the award ceremony for typical businesses contributing to the country’s tax sector in the past 30 years (1990-2020). It was also in the Top 10 leading private enterprises in Vietnam. Hoa Phat has a factory system nationwide. The group has contributed to the State budget of more than 20 cities and provinces such as Ha Giang, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Quang Binh, Da Nang, HCM City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Long An etc.

Hoa Phat Group has contributed VND6.63 trillion to the State budget so far. In which, it has the largest contributions to the State budget of Quang Ngai, Hai Duong and Hung Yen ranging from VND1.2 trillion to VND1.7 trillion each locality. Despite facing many difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hoa Phat still ensures stable production and business activities, creating jobs for about 24,000 workers. The group contributed more than VND4.5 trillion to the State budget in the first 9 months of the year.
