Furniture export thrives

In the first seven months of 2008, the export turnover of Hoa Phat Furniture has gained 75% targeted plan and doubled in comparision with the same period of 2007.

Hoa Phat Furniture export activity has been increasing fast since the first months of the year and always maintained the stable growth rate in months. The result gained thanks to the great effort of Export Department in particular and the Company in general in completing, standardizing the process, activities for export, from model, packaging to product quality. This success partically comes from the experience at Dubai Trade Fair (November 2007), it brought the Company many worthy orders in January, February and continued to maintain in next months. Besides, Many foreign partners, including traditional customers and new partners visited the Factory and signed cooperation contracts with the Company. The products are exported to the traditional market – South East Asia stably following the targeted plan, the turnover in this region is doubled in comparision with the year 2007. Especially, Hoa Phat Furniture Trade mark has appeared in many big works, assistant projects in South East Asia.

Hoa Phat Furniture signed two big orders to export goods and provide wooden interiors for some hospitals in Saudi Arabia. Export goods production not only brings efficient economic but also give conditions to Hoa Phat Furniture’s workers to get experience and improve their professional skills.

An outstanding point in furniture export is that the Company has expanded export product models. Formerly, the models mainly concentrated on mechanical models such as steel office cabinet, plated chair, steel safe box. In this year, the good structure has been expanded to many kinds, especially wooden products such as: solid products are exported to England market, wooden office tables are exported to Middle East market, high- grade PU finishing working table, reception counter for hospital offices, office chairs, etc.

In the coming months, the Company will continue to complete signed orders, search new sources of supply, mark out quality control process of export products. Moreover, the Company intends to take part in the regional trade fairs in Laos, Cambodia, go to the markets to improve traditional customers’ relationship and explore new markets.

The success of furniture export in the first seven months creates development momentum for next months, ensures export turnover to gain above targeted plan.
