Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC donated VND100 million to raise for education promotion fund in Dung Quat Economic Zone

On July 7^th 2023, under the program of Fairs and Conferences connecting businesses in industrial parks, economic zones and high-tech zones in the Central Highlands - Central Coast provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in 2023, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC donated VND100 million to raise for education promotion fund at Dung Quat Economic Zone.

Dung Quat Economic Zone Education Promotion Fund aims to nurture young talents and encourage students to overcome difficulties and study hard, who are children of people at Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Province’s Industrial Parks.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company is creating jobs with stable income for over 13,000 people, mainly local workers. In 2022, the company contributed a total amount of taxes and fees of nearly VND7 trillion to the State budget. It is a member company of Hoa Phat Group with the largest contribution to the State budget.

The company has not only contributed an increasing amount to the provincial State budget, creating jobs for local workers, but also has always focused and implemented many social security programs with the spirit of Harmony for development and accompany the locality in practical activities in recent years.

Since 2017, the company has carried out many programs such as "Spring of love" - giving Tet gifts to the poor; sponsor the construction of new schools, upgrade physical foundations, educational and medical facilities; sponsoring ECMO ventilators for Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital; upgrade the transport system around the complex etc.

Especially since 2022, Hoa Phat Group has developed the "Godmother" program in the series of activities "The road to love", supporting 85 orphans in Binh Son District to give more motivation, share and help children overcome difficulties in learning and life.

In March 2023, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province presented a certificate of merit to the company for its achievements in contributing and supporting social security work in the locality during the Lunar New Year of the year 2023.

Up to now, The Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC has spent VND64 billion to carry out social security activities in Quang Ngai Province.
