In the fourth quarter of 2025, Hoa Phat Group produced more than 3 million tonnes of crude steel, up 10 per cent from the third quarter and 36 per cent year on year. Sales of hot-rolled coil (HRC), construction steel, high-quality steel and steel billets reached 3 million tonnes, representing an increase of 24 per cent quarter on quarter and 53 per cent compared to the same period in 2024. For the full year 2025, Hoa Phat recorded steel sales of 10.6 million tonnes for the first time, marking a 31 per cent increase over the previous year.

With 1.3 million tonnes sold, Hoa Phat’s construction steel and high-quality steel products posted their highest-ever quarterly result, up 24 per cent from the previous quarter and 14 per cent year on year. In December alone, sales of this product line set a new monthly record of 585,000 tonnes.

In the final quarter of 2025, sales of hot-rolled coil reached 1.6 million tonnes, up 30 per cent from the previous quarter and 2.5 times higher than in the same period of 2024. The sharp rise in HRC sales was mainly driven by additional output from the HRC2 production line at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat integrated steel complex, which came on stream at the end of September 2025. At the same time, demand from downstream domestic manufacturing sectors such as steel pipes, galvanised steel sheets and mechanical engineering increased towards the end of the year.

Hoa Phat has mastered the production technologies for a wide range of high-quality steel coils, including steel used for tyre beads, automotive tyres, elevator cables and prestressed steel strands.

Hoa Phat has mastered the production technologies for a wide range of high-quality steel products, including steel for tyre beads, tyre cord, elevator cables and prestressed steel.

Specifically, sales of Hoa Phat steel pipes reached 221,000 tonnes in the fourth quarter, up 8 per cent year on year. Sales of galvanised steel products totalled 103,000 tonnes, slightly higher than the same period last year.

For the whole of 2025, Hoa Phat produced 11 million tonnes of crude steel, up 26 per cent compared to 2024. Sales of HRC, construction steel, high-quality steel and steel billets reached a record 10.6 million tonnes for the year, an increase of 31 per cent year on year.

Of this total, construction steel and high-quality steel accounted for 4.8 million tonnes, up 8 per cent from the previous year. Hoa Phat maintained its number-one position in Viet Nam’s construction steel market with an estimated market share of around 36 per cent.

In the HRC segment, Hoa Phat supplied 5 million tonnes to the market, a surge of 73 per cent compared to 2024. According to a report released by the Việt Nam Steel Association in December 2025, the Group’s hot-rolled coil products accounted for 60 per cent of total HRC production and sales in the domestic market.

In addition, Hoa Phat recorded galvanized steel sales of 423,000 tonnes, on par with the previous year. Steel pipe output reached nearly 850,000 tonnes, further consolidating the Group’s leading market position in Việt Nam with a 30.8 per cent share. Sales of prestressed steel and drawn wire products rose by 29 per cent to 174,000 tonnes, with exports contributing more than 40 per cent of the total.

Hoa Phat is currently the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, with total capacity expected to reach 16 million tonnes by the end of 2026. Of this, 60 per cent will be high-technology steel products serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, household appliances, steel structures and energy. At present, Hoa Phat is the only Vietnamese enterprise investing in the production of hot-rolled coil steel.

The group is also aggressively implementing the project to build a rail steel and special steel plant in Dung Quất. The facility is expected to roll out its first rail steel products in 2027, supplying major railway projects in Việt Nam and exporting to international markets.
