Hoa Phat steel market share reach to 22.1% in the first 6 months

In the first six months of 2015, Hoa Phat steel sales volume reached 675,710 tons, an increase of more than 52% over the same period last year, including 24,000 tons exported to Laos and Cambodia markets. Hoa Phat Steel maintained its market share leading position with 22.1%.

Particularly in June, Hoa Phat Steel consumes more than 100,000 tons, up 54.5% compared to 6/2014, of which exports more than 5,100 tons.

For last 6 months, the central area contributed 86,600 tons and contribution of the south was more than 78,000 tons and the rest were the North's consumption and export. Production of construction steel export has increased steadily in recent months, in average, Laos and Cambodia imported nearly 5,000 tons of Hoa Phat steel to serve the projects of hydropower, roads and bridges.

Hoa Phat steel continuous growth in sales volume both in the domestic market and export

Apart from production of construction steel export to Southeast Asian markets is increasing, products of Hoa Phat Steel Pipe continued to have large export orders to the markets like the US, Canada.

Regarding the product structure, due to serving the large infrastructure projects, the sales ratio of Hoa Phat Steel bars is always about 80% of total sales. However, the remaining 20% belonging to the rolled steel in the first 6 months showed that the civil market, especially in the central and southern region is clearly increasing.

According to the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the real estate industry with warming signal, rapid urbanization and the stronger need of basic infrastructure works have contributed to increasing steel production to all members of the VSA recently.
