Hoa Phat steel got the largest sales volume in October

With an output of 69,600 tons in October, Hoa Phat steel led the market in terms of sales volume. Compared to the previous month and same period in 2012, Hoa Phat steel grew over 15 %, much higher than the local industry.

Calculating for 10 months, Hoa Phat steel output reached more than 561,000 tons, an increase of 8.72 % over the 10 months of 2012. In particular, thanks to outstanding sales result in 10/2013, Hoa Phat steel increased its market share from 14.5% last September to 14.8 %.

According to the Vietnam Steel Association ( VSA ), the macro -economic situation, specially the interest rate were relatively stable at a reasonable rate, the interbank average rate between VND / USD was also stable, stimulating production in the country in general and the construction industry in particular. Total steel output ò VSA in last 10 months reached over 3.79 million tons, up 2.67 % compared to the same period in 2012.

Also in October, Hoa Phat has officially launched Phase II of Hoa Phat steel integrated complex into operation and exported more than 10,000 tons of steel billet to the ASEAN countries for the first times. Shipment will be delivered to partner by middle of Nov 2013 in Hai Phong port, opening up new direction in the market development strategy for the group’s core product next time.
