Hoa Phat steel continues to lead the market in November

In November 2013, Hoa Phat steel sales volume reached 71,718 tons, an increase of nearly 30 % compared to the same period in 2012. Thus, the average market share of Hoa Phat steel in 11 months was officially 15 %, the highest ever.

Accumulated 11 months 2013, Hoa Phat sold 632,900 thousand tons of steel, increasing 10.7 % over the same period. Meanwhile, according to the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), construction steel sold by the companies of VSA in November was nearly 424,400 tonnes, slightly down by 1.4 % compared to the same period 2012. 11 months, the association reached output of 4.2 million tons, up more than 2 %.

Only after one month putting the second phase of Hoa Phat steel integrated complex in Hai Duong into operation, Hoa Phat steel market share grew from 14.8 % (as at the end of October) to 15 % and always led of the domestic consumption capacity during the past several months.
