Hoa Phat Steel 8 months 2015: Production and consumption had an impressive growth

Along with the recovery of the real estate market, business and production activities of the Hoa Phat Steel has recorded positive results after 8 months of the year. Production output and sales of the Group grew around 50% over the same period, much higher than the average rate of Vietnam's steel industry.

Manufacturing strongly grows

8 months of the year, Hoa Phat steel rolling factory in Hung Yen reached 253,000 tonnes, up 28% compared with 8 months last year and also the highest volume within 4 years. Mr. Tran Van Nam - Vice Director of Hoa Phat steel Company Limited said the cause of the production of steel 8 months of this year rose sharply over the same period due to the warming of the real estate market. Many projects have been implemented with faster progress, boosting demand for construction steel increased.

All plants of Hoa Phat Steel have run beyond the designed capacity

Hoa Phat steel integrated complex in Hai Duong even reached more impressive growth, though ensuring production and employing  Phase III in the same time. Over eight months, the complex has produced more than 763,000 tons of billet and 671,000 tons of rolled steel products, up 32.6% and 59.4 respectively% over the same period last year. As leaders of Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company, thanks to master technology and equipment should operate stable production and consumption of materials decreasing fuel, equipment performance increased markedly. In fact, the rolled steel output has far exceeded the design capacity.

Thus, with only 8 months, Hoa Phat has produced 924,000 tons of rolled steel of all kinds, up 48% over the first 8 months of 2014.

Sales bustling throughout in the North - Central - South

The production capacity of the factory is increasingly improved, rising up Hoa Phat steel supply ability to customers faster, constantly increasing share of sales across the country and promote export to other countries in Southeast Asia.

After the first 8 months of 2015, Hoa Phat steel reached 892,000 tons of sales, increased by more than 50% over the same period 2014. In particular, the export volume of nearly 30,000 tons to the markets of Laos and Cambodia. Sales activities of the regional distribution system in the Central and South occurred significantly more robust than the previous year while sales volume has increased by almost 2 times in comparison with the previous year.

Besides the higher sales volume in the country, Hoa Phat steel is being exported regularly to Laos and Cambodia

Although most of the time last August was in July of lunar calendar when considered as "ghost month" in the folk conception and also the hurricane season begins, Hoa Phat Steel has still reached a high consumption, almost 107,000 tons, up 50% yoy.

Numerous real estate projects, large bridges across the country have ordered to Hoa Phat Steel as Time City Park Hill, Bach Dang Bridge (Quang Ninh), Da Nang - Quang Ngai High way, ... Especially, civil purchase increased significantly over the previous year, accounting for more than half of the total sales volume of Hoa Phat Steel last time.

In 2015, Hoa Phat targets of selling 1.2 million tons of construction steel. With the current situation of consumption, Hoa Phat is very confident that target can be totally reached, even exceeded this figure, because, the projects often accelerate its construction in the last months of the year.
