Hoa Phat in Top 10 best listed companies of Forbes Vietnam

According to the list of 50 best listed companies in 2015 announced by Forbes Vietnam Magazine recently, Hoa Phat Group has been voted for the 3rd consecutive times in this list as one of the 10 listed companies that had highest revenue in 2014.


With revenue of VND25,852 billion, Hoa Phat Group continues to be named in the Top 50 best listed companies in 2015 of Forbes Vietnam and No. 7 among the enterprises with  largest turnover on both Stock Exchanges. Hoa Phat’s profit last year also reached highest in its more than 20 years of development with VND3,250 billion. For its impressive results in three consecutive years 2012-2014, Hoa Phat has been rated by Forbes Vietnam as a leading enterprise in the steel industry and steel related products.

This year is the third consecutive times Vietnam Forbes publishing a list of Top 50 best listed companies. Almost of companies in this list are the leading ones in Vietnam's economy or a leader in their business sector, competitiveness demonstrated by good business results and stability in the last 5 years, and also the listed companies that have outstanding business results in the industry, with leading positions on the market transparent finance and bring high profit to investors.

According to summary results, last year, 50 companies in the list has total revenue of VND483,244 billion and 56,211 billion of profit after tax. PV Gas is still the champion with 73,393 billion in revenues and 14,122 billion of profit after tax. The second position is Vinamilk and FPT is the next. The remaining businesses in Top 10 respectively: Petroleum Technical Services - PVS; Vietcombank - VCB; Vingroup - VIC; Hoa Phat - HPG; PV Drilling - PVD; Masan - MSN; Mobile world - MWG.

Top 50 best listed companies is conducted by Forbes Vietnam, with the global standard ranking method, taking into consideration the specific factors of the Vietnam market. Forbes based on the audited financial reports of all companies listed on HoSE and HNX in 2014. The assessment considers some key criteria like compound growth rate, profitability ratios ROE, ROC and EPS growth period of 2010-2014, the quality of governance, prospects for sustainable development ...

According to statistics, among of the 50 companies, there were 45 representatives of HOSE. The data used to evaluate based on audited financial statements within 3 years in a row, the most recent financial year ended 31/12/2014.
