Hoa Phat Equipment Co. Leaving its Seal on Construction Works

Hoa Phat was set up in 1992 as a commercial company. 2001 was an important landmark for the company as its leaders decided to enter a new production field on a basis of experience it had gained. Accordingly, the company built a stone grinding plant in Hung Yen province.

After around 12 years, Hoa Phat has become one of the most prestigious suppliers to construction works. The company is the only distributor of construction equipment under the brand of MISAKA from Japan, concrete mixing machines VITO made in France, air compressing and electricity generating machines Airman of Japan, FIAC and OMI air compressing and filtering machines of Italy, KOSHIN water pumping machines of Japan, and DIMAS concrete cutting equipment of the USA and Australia. The company’s customers are famous corporations in Vietnam, including VINACONEX, HUDS and LICOGI.

In 2004, despite many difficulties in the construction sector due to bad debts in capital construction and a sharp increase in construction materials’ prices, Hoa Phat had a successful year. Products distributed and manufactured by the company were used in many major construction works. As a result, the company’s revenues saw an increase of 10 per cent. The company’s contribution to the Hoa Phat Group was put at VND 300 billion. The company now has representative offices in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.  

Nguyen Ngoc Quang said that the company’s success came from its 12 years’ building and development. The Hoa Phat trademark has become famous among manufacturers. Over the past 12 years, construction contractors have become familiar with equipment and machines manufactured and supplied by Hoa Phat with their two important criteria ‘foreign quality and domestic price.’ To compete with foreign manufacturers in Vietnam, Hoa Phat has selected a solution of importing major accessories from foreign countries for machines manufactured by the company. This has helped the company take advantage of lower transportation and labour costs to reduce production costs. Also, the company can serve its customers anywhere at any time, not depending on imported equipment and machines.

Having considered its products as an indispensable part of construction and mining works, the company has often conducted careful research activities before launching its products to ensure their safety at work and the development of the Hoa Phat trademark.

Also, Hoa Phat has concentrated on after-sale services by providing technical guides and maintenance services for products used in construction and mining works.
