Hoa Phat achieves impressive results with VND1,874 billion of net profit in the first 6 months

In the first half of 2014, Hoa Phat Group achieved impressive results with VND1,874 billion profit after tax and revenue 13,339 billion, respectively 85% and 58% of the year plan. The average financial indicators of  HPG's latest 4 quarters are very good, EPS 5,806 per share, ROA 13.7% and ROE 28.5%.

Specially, Hoa Phat steel consumption reached 445,000 tons by the end of 6/2014, equal to 138% in compared to same period of last year, leading the national market share. For the first time, Hoa Phat steel exported wire rod to the Australian market and signed contracts to supply construction steel for partners in Laos. Hoa Phat also exported 72,000 tons of steel billet to the ASEAN market, expanding  market of Hoa Phat steel  in the international and regional market.

In the last 6 months and next year, Hoa Phat will focus to accelerate deployment of phase 3 with capacity of 750 thousand tons / year at Hoa Phat steel integrated complex in Hai Duong province, striving to complete the project in early 2016. After completion of the third phase, construction steel production of  the Group will be approximately 2 million tons/ year.
