AN THONG MINERAL INVESTMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY was established in February 2007 with the main business of exploiting and processing iron ore, buying, selling and trading iron ore. An Thong is currently the investor to exploit and process some iron ore mines in Ha Giang province.

These are major projects in mining, An Thong provides 600,000 - 800,000 tons of qualified iron ore for Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex in Hai Duong each year.

In addition, the company is operating the largest pellet ore factory in Vietnam with a capacity of 300,000 tons / year in Ha Giang.
