Hoa Phat Mining Joint –Stock Company was founded in accordance with Business License no 0503000243, dated 19th June 2007 with its main role being the exploitation of iron ore within Vietnam as well as abroad with the registered capital of VND 100 billion.
On 24th July, 2007, the representative office in Vientiane (Capital of Laos) officially became operational. The company is opening a representative office in Phnom Penh (the Cambodian capital).
Following exploration of the soil, geology and mineral potential in Xieng Khouang and HouaPhan provinces, Hoa Phat will invest in 3 fields: taking research and exploiting ore deposits, processing fine ore and mainly iron ore used to develop complex steel project; building a hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 100 ÷ 200MW; and planting perennial industrial crops such as coffee and rubber tree…
Part of the Hoa Phat Mining company’s products will meet the demand for iron ore material required by the new Hoa Phat’s steel complex project.
